BNBU students win awards at multiple competitions

This has been a landmark year for student achievement at BNBU. Across disciplines, teams rose to the challenge and claimed top prizes. Their achievements not only set new records but also showcase the creativity, resilience, and academic excellence that define the BNBU spirit.

In this year’s Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling, five BNBU teams won National Second Prizes. A total of 212 teams participated in this competition, and 173 teams received awards, marking a record-high of winners.

Apart from the national prizes, BNBU students also excelled provincially, winning 20 first prizes, 28 second prizes, 70 third prizes, and 55 teams were recognised as Successful Participants.

The five winning teams

In the CGMA Global Business Challenge 2025, BNBU students from the Faculty of Business and Management excelled in the Chinese Mainland Final, advanced to the North Asia Final and were recognised as the 2nd Runner-up.

The ACM team from the Faculty of Science and Technology at BNBU sent three teams the “Huashan Lun Jian” division of the China Collegiate Computing Contest Group Programming Ladder Tournament. They secured one National Second Prize in the finals, two Provincial team Third Prizes in Guangdong, and five National Individual Third Prizes. This improved performance over last year highlights the students’ exceptional programming skills and collaborative strength.

In the National Competition in Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Psychology Undergraduate, BNBU students from the Department of Life Sciences earned a national second prize in the “Psychological Product Design” session.

On 8 November 2025, BNBU hosted the 10th China Data Journalism Competition and the first AIGC Application Competition, alongside the 3rd AI in Communication and Social Governance Forum. Over 1,400 teams from more than 300 universities nationwide gathered at BNBU, where its students won two first prizes, one third prize in the Data Journalism Contest, and two second-place prizes in the AIGC Competition.
