All participants were deprived of sleep for two days and one night during which they needed to take part in intelligence-demanding games and a series of tasks in groups. The camp aimed at challenging students' emotional endurance and training students in emotion control. Besides, capabilities of money management, communication, cognition and perception, balance of mind and body, and teamwork were also trained.

12 student observers and cameramen videotaped the whole process and shared their recordings with the participants on the afternoon of May 16. Even a yawn or a long face went without missing on the track.

At the end of the camp, one participant said, "I am worn out and extremely sleepy now, but I have stuck it out and I didn't know I could accomplish so many tasks under such a tough circumstance."
