Café de Coral to Open in October

Café de Coral Restaurant is setting up a branch restaurant on the first floor of SHCV Building No. 7. The restaurant is expected to open by the middle of October to all UIC members. A ceremony celebrating the start of its interior decoration was held on 5th Aug, 2010.  Prof. Ng Ching-Fai, President of UIC, Mr. Joseph Leong, Managing Director of Financial Planning and Development, Mr. Ronald Yu, Deputy Chief of ISO, and Mr. Terence Y.K. Wong, General Manager of Café de Coral, China Institutional Catering, were present at the ceremony.

Mr. Terence Wong said the restaurant at UIC would cover 2800 square meters and would be a multifunctional  European style restaurant including a fast food area, a catering area, a buffet area, a recreation area, a bakery, a café, and an outdoor dinning area, providing plentiful of Chinese and Western food.

At the restaurant, bills can be paid by cash or rechargeable card. Mr. Wong revealed that  the price of the food would be a little bit higher than other student dinging halls. Fast food would cost more than 10 Yuan for a fast food, but the quality of the food is worth the price.
