Thousands of Students and Staff Moved Books to the New Library

On October 6, thousands of UIC staff members and students formed a queue in order to move over 3000 books from the Learning Resources Center (the library) to the new LRC which is located at SHCV #7.

Professor Ng Ching Fai passed out the first book to be followed by the queue of students and teachers of 650 meters. Totally 40 minutes were spent to pass the books. Professor Ng Ching Fai wished that through this activity, UIC students could gain the experience of working for the community and helping people voluntarily.

Vice president and the Dean of Division of Science and Technology Professor Zee Sze Yong, Dean of Division of Business and Management Professor Stella Cho, Dean of Division of Humanities and Social Sciences Professor Samuel Hui, Assistant to President, Director of College Secretariat, Chief of Development and Four-Point Education Miss Lillian Li, Deputy College Librarian, LRC, Mr. Henry E, Programme Coordinator of Statistics Professor Fang Kaitai and  Programme Coordinator of TESL Dr. Dave Towey also took part in the activity, which demonstrated the spirit of servant leadership.

UIC students believe that the new library being launched could provide them more resources for their studies.
