In early November, UIC students gave excellent performance in the "Intrinsic--Work and Travel USA Programme". Su Xiayun, year-two student of Food Science, won golden prize with full subsidization to work and travel in U.S.A. Besides, more than 20 UIC students won proportional subsidizations.

"Intrinsic Scholarship to UIC Students - Work and Travel USA Program 2011" was open for application simultaneously.  Xie Qing, a junior from Government and International Relations won full scholarship to work and travel in U.S.A next summer. 25 students were awarded the opportunity to join the programme but at their own expense. Prof. Kwok Siutong, Executive President, presented the students the scholarships.

"Intrinsic's Next Top Brass 2011 Competition" was held for all college students in Guangdong Province. About 600 students in total had been sent to USA for exchange in the past two years. But the Intrinsic Scholarship is only for UIC students.
