Students, faculty and staff were invited to perform on stage. The room was echoed with melodies and singing, and the air was fluttered by the hemlines of dresses. Games like Football Throwing and Board Painting were designed as well, and a buffet was arranged for the participants to better enjoy the afternoon.

The event ended with Prof Guo's speech. He said that the event gave an opportunity for UIC's community to get closer and better enhance communication and understanding among each other. "Let us continue to build a closer relationship and support each other today, and every day," he said.
