
This April, while UIC students took the opportunity to refresh their memories about what they've learned in the first half of the semester, plenty of events were happening around the campus to make sure students had a productive and enjoyable time.
Lectures
During the reading week, various lectures and talks were organised for students.

Other Activities
In addition to regular events, different departments of UIC also took the opportunity to offer some unique activities to enrich students' experience during the Reading Week. For example, the Centre for Teaching and Learning and Student Affairs Office jointly organised the Meal with Your Professor (MYP) event, providing students opportunities to converse with their teachers over meal or coffee time. Activities such as hiking and wellbeing sharings were also organised.

Organised by the Whole Person Education Office, students and staff are ready to hike the Chihua Mountain near UIC
Books on wellbeing are available at the WellNest located in the Learning Resource Centre. Sharing sessions were also conducted there during the Reading Week, encouraging students and staff to focus on their inner health.


Sports, music, food-making and gardening are also ways of relaxation and unique experiences.
