Professor Liu Weimin joined BNBU in 2023. He received his doctorate in finance from the University of Manchester. Following his PhD study, he became a Lecturer and a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Manchester. Then, he was appointed Professor of Finance at the Nottingham University Business School. Professor Liu has experience in teaching a wide range of topics and courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research interests include asset pricing, efficient market hypothesis tests, corporate finance, and mutual fund industry. Professor Liu has published in leading international finance journals such as Journal of Financial Economics (JFE), Review of Financial Studies (RFS), etc.
