Graduation Speech - Wu Chuyao

Published on 9 June 2025

Distinguished guests, esteemed professors, dear parents, and fellow graduates,

I am Wu Chuyao, an undergraduate student majoring in Accounting from the Class of 2025. It is a great honour for me to stand here today as a representative of the graduating class. At this special moment, please allow me to express, on behalf of all graduates, our heartfelt gratitude to our university for nurturing us, to our dedicated teachers for guiding us, and to our families and friends for their unwavering support along the way.

Looking back on the past four years, we have thrived under BNBU’s holistic education that bridges East and West, past and present. We have acquired solid professional knowledge and well-rounded competencies, cultivated a deep sense of national responsibility alongside a global perspective, and given ourselves not only a wealth of knowledge but also the confidence and courage to face the challenges in the future.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to every teacher at BNBU. Your encouragement and guidance have shown us the way to move forward. At the same time, I would also like to thank many academic leaders invited by the university, who have enabled us to gain insights into the latest developments in various academic fields. In addition, my sincere thanks go to the university’s holistic education courses—from the arts to sports—which have provided us with diverse and enriching experiences.

The campus life at BNBU has truly been the most brilliant chapter of our youth. From the formality of high table dinners to the joyful Colour Run, from countless deep discussions in the library to spirited teamwork in student clubs, and the warmth we contributed in volunteer service—these moments sparkle in our memories like stars, reminding us where we've been and lighting up where we're going.

We met in the summer, and now we part for our own summers. Graduation is not the end—it’s the beginning of new dreams, new chances, and new journeys. No matter where we go, let’s move forward with brave hearts, hold on to what we love, and keep looking ahead with joy.

Thank you!
