19 students and 2 professors from Concordia College visited UIC for a week from May 11th to 16th. It was part of their one-month trip aimed at Integrating Spirituality and Health in China.

UIC International Developmental Office and Whole Person Education Office organized several activities and field trips for the students, visiting Jin Tai Si Temple and a senior home in Zhuhai and meeting UIC students.

On May 14th, Dr. Liu from UIC Medical and Health Education Office gave a presentation on the medical care system of UIC. She showed them how acupuncture and massage could be applied to the students.

The students were impressed by the Whole Person Education and the development of UIC in such a short period.

"People are so friendly here. It's awesome that many people here can speak two languages fluently. So many people speak English well. It's just hard to believe it's a four-year-old school."

Concordia College is one of the collaborative partners of UIC in Minnesota, U.S.A.  "If we say that we are preparing students to engage in the world, we must be involved with China. With UIC, we have a common vision for what the future can hold," said President Pamela Jolicoeur in Concordia Magazine. The visiting students warmly welcomed UIC students to study at Concordia College.
