UIC Named "the Best Sino-Foreign Cooperative Enterprise in Higher Education"

UIC was named "the Best Sino-Foreign Cooperative Enterprise in Higher Education" in the Annual Education Ceremony held by Sina.com, a major Chinese web portal. The ceremony was held Jan. 26 in Beijing. UIC Chief of Development and Four-Point Education, Ms. Lillian Li, attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of UIC.

Officiating at the ceremony were former Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Zhang Tianbao, former Minster of Elementary Education of the Chinese Ministry of Education, Mr. Wang Wenzhan, as well as officials from the U.S., U.K. and French embassies. 

The Annual Education Ceremony was a major event started by Sina.com, with over 40 participating educational media organizations in more than 30 provinces in China. This event reviewed the Chinese education field in the past year, and issued many awards, including the top ten news in education, the most popular foreign language training institutions, as well as the Best Sino-Foreign Cooperative Enterprise in Higher Education. The judges included educational experts in foreign and domestic universities, professionals in consultancy and research companies, and the netizens of Sina.com. Online public opinion survey is getting increasing attention among parents when choosing an educational institution for their children.
