On the day, the CPGU staff highlighted changes and projects to Vice-President Prof Zhang Cong, Director of Integrated Services Office Mr Lawrence Yeung, and other staff and students.

Changes are a better layout and an expanded workplace with different functional rooms. The rooms are used as staff offices and for personal counselling and group activities. A comfortable, quiet and delicate atmosphere pervades the new location, which is believed to buffer stress and make it easy to have a heart-to-heart talk with students.

The move makes the CPGU physically closer to students and provides better services. “The new location also enables us to cooperate with other units of Student Affairs Office,” added Student Psychological Counsellor Mr Andy Sham.

The CPGU focuses on tutorial, academic inspiration, personal counselling, life planning, and body, mind and soul fitness for students. It has carried out a lot of tutorial classes, workshops, and projects to help students with their study and life.
