“The State University of New York at Stony Brook (SBU) will continue to provide favourable terms in its graduate programme for UIC students,” said Dr Fei Yang at UIC on 27 February.

Dr Yang promoted the programme of Master of Science in Technological Systems Management with a focus on Global Operation Management and said, “We have deeper cooperation with UIC than any other universities in China, after a strict review on UIC’s teaching and grading system by a SBU’s special committee.”
When applying for the programme, UIC graduates will not need to take a test of English language proficiency like TOEFL or IELTS, and will spend six months studying courses at UIC and one year at SBU. “We are very confident of UIC’s teaching level and its students’ English skills,” Dr Yang added.
SBU ranks 78th in the world according to the Times Higher Education Ranking. It enrolled the first batch of 34 UIC graduates in June 2012. Then another 28 UIC graduates followed their steps to the US for the master’s programme.
