French tertiary education targets UIC students

Hundreds of students from UIC and nearby universities came to UIC to meet representatives from 16 French schools of higher education on 24 March.

Organised by the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou as well as Campus France Canton, the meetings provided the students with information on studying in France for master’s and doctor’s degrees.

The participating schools were two institutions of science and engineering, 12 business schools and two arts institutes, and included Hautes Études d'Ingénieur (Graduate School of Engineering), EMLYON Business School, ESSEC Business School, plus Spéos Paris London Photography School.

In addition, several French-based companies joined to promote their corporate cultures and recruitment plans.

This event held at UIC was a part of the five face-to-face meetings between the French schools and Chinese students, and the only one held in Guangdong Province.
