To express gratitude towards Guangdong Jian’an Changsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd. (Jian’an Changsheng) for its generous contribution to UIC’s development, UIC held the naming ceremony of Changsheng Road on 10 September.

Changsheng Road is the first road in UIC named after an enterprise. The west side of the road is connected to Virtue Road, and it ends at the intersection of The Great Learning Way.
Jian’an Changsheng donated RMB 2.8 million for UIC’s development in 2020. This year, they donated another RMB 1 million for UIC’s second-phase campus construction.

In his speech, the President of UIC, Prof Tang Tao, expressed his gratitude to Jian’an Changsheng. Jian’an Changsheng has been involved in UIC’s construction since 2016, said President Tang, and they are witnessing a growing liberal arts college. He also mentioned that the second-phase campus of UIC has started its construction on the other side of Huitong village.

President of Jian’an Changsheng, Mr Liu Qiang, said that Jian’an Changsheng has 37 years of history as a local construction enterprise. Besides developing the enterprise, Jian’an Changsheng is also taking its social responsibilities. He sent his sincere wishes that UIC could cultivate more liberal arts talents for the local community.

Vice President of Zhuhai Charity Federation, Ms Zhang Li, acknowledged the efforts made by Jian’an Changsheng and UIC. She also encouraged more enterprises to support the charity and educational industry.

Mr You Zhencheng was the witness as President Tang received the donation from Mr Liu Jingming. Later on, the Chairman of the UIC Education Foundation, Prof Mao Yaqing, presented Mr Liu Qiang with the certificate of UIC Honorary Member of UIC Education Foundation.
