Huawei Kunpeng camp inspires UIC students

Huawei and UIC Career Development Office co-hosted a week-long Kunpeng training camp starting from 22 March. The training camp was participated by 40 students from the Divison of Science and Technology.

This event aims to deepen the cooperation between universities and enterprises, cultivate talents, and attract more Industrial-University Research to invest in Kunpeng's industrial ecological construction. The Kunpeng training camp was introduced to the UIC campus by Liu Qianxin, a 2018 alumna who worked at Huawei.

UIC Vice President (Academic) Prof Huang Huaxiong and Associate Vice President (Student Development) Prof Stella Cho delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

Senior Kunpeng trainers teach the course to help students understand the development trend of the Kunpeng computing industry and learn about the Huawei Kunpeng processor.

The students who participated in the training gave positive feedback, saying that they have gained a better understanding of the industry and met other people with the same interests.
