On Sep. 9, 2010, Ms. Lilian Li, Prof. Jeffrey Wilkinson, Mr. Lexus Liu and Ms. Amy Qin attended the Zhuhai Commendation Conference for the 2010 Teacher's Day on behalf of UIC. Dr. Wendy Chan and Prof. Jeffrey Wilkinson were honored as the 2010 Prominent Teacher of Zhuhai, and Ms. Lillian Li was honored as the 2010 Prominent Educational Worker of Zhuhai.
Mr. Zhong Shilin, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Zhuhai, officiated at the conference and sent congratulatory message to the teachers.
A total of 179 teachers in Zhuhai were awarded, during which, Prof. Jeff Wilkinson was the only foreign teacher.
